Trend Watch: Wrist Corsage Bracelets – Romance in Bloom

this article proves i might be onto something!! mindy sent me some pictures with bridesmaides wearing corsages (see above). i've been searching for pictures online, but i'm coming up empty. i'll attach a few though... i think i need to meet with a florist and see if they can create what i am picturing.

flower perfection

i found (stole) the first picture from east side bride. yes, i'm obsessed with her blog. these are my favorite flowers as of july 2008 (i.e. when i got engaged and started researching flowers). they are called anemones. i first saw them in a martha stewart wedding mag used in a bouquet. it was stunning. the one above is similar.

lately i've been thinking more and more about corsages. i know people are going to think i am crazy when they read this, but something about it is kind of glamorous. i'm not a bouquet kind of girl, so if i hold flowers i want them to be unassuming. i'm going to start searching for non-prom corsage-y pictures. maybe i'm being silly. 

centerpiece dilemma

HELP! i have too many thoughts about how i want the centerpieces to look. i know i do not want to spend alot of money on flowers (my wonderful friend offered to do them for me! gin, you still sure?????). i have been searching for any types of bud vases or "small-opening" vases to hold minimal flowers, but still look lovely. right now i am picturing antique round silver trays with different size vases on the larger tables. maybe some teacups or small bowls with flowers for the smaller tables???
